While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of the Venue : Unhygienic and Abandoned
From the moment I stepped inside , it was evident that hygiene was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , decay and illness . The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The lavatory was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
